About the website
The interactive infographic is based on data collected by Andreas Gemählich (University of Bonn) and Gerda Kuiper (University of Cologne, gkuiper@uni-koeln.de) in the framework of its promotional projects as part of the research group “Resilience, Collapse and Reorganization of Socio-Ecological Systems in African Savannas”. The research group is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The illustrated texts, if not otherwise occupied, are fictitious statements inspired by interview passages from Andreas Gemählichs research project. For questions about the basis of the data and methodology, please contact Andreas Gemählich.
The implementation was carried out in the framework of the project “New Spaces for Collaboration between Science and Practice in the Social and Spatial Sciences. Sub-project: New Spaces for Collaboration in Geography and Spatial Sciences – New Media and Intergenerational Learning“ of the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL) in Leipzig, which offered assistance in the development, as well as financial support. Use of Webalizer
The tool "Webalizer" is a Web analysis software for the statistical analysis of accesses from users on the offer.
